Laundry
Proceed to the basement, which can be found on floor -1.
When you reach the bottom of the stairs, go right. The laundry is in front of you.
The washing machine is on the right, the dryer on the left. Make sure to turn on the power (picture 1) and turn on the machine (picture 2).

Waste disposal and recycling
The trash containers are located across the street. Use the GREY container for the regular trash.
In Zürich, it is required to purchase official bin bags. You will find some in the apartment (the bags are white or blue). If you stay for a longer time, you can purchase them in all supermarkets (they are usually not out on the shelves so make sure to ask at the cashier's desk for "Gebührensäcke"). Compost can be put in the GREEN container outside. Please do not use any plastic bags.
Recycling
Glass and aluminum need to be separated and then deposited at local recycling points.
The closest recycling point to the flat is at Käferholzstrasse 44, 8037 Zürich.
Plastic PET bottles can be dropped off in the large containers in front or inside of supermarkets (Migros or Denner).
Cardboard and paper is picked up for free in front of your house Friday every two weeks (see exact dates here). Cardboard must be folded correctly
