Proceed to the basement, which can be found on floor -1, and turn left.
On the right you will find the laundry and drying room.
There are two washing machine and one dryer available, which you can use
Please leave the laundry room clean. Happy washing!
You will need coins to operate the machine.
There is also a drying room which you can use.
🗑 Waste disposal and recycling
🔑 The trash container is locked. Make sure to take the key from the apartment (keybox at the entrace) to open the container.
🚮 Trash: Grey containers in front of the house (on the right). Please only use blue official bin bags. You will find some in the apartment. If you stay for a longer time, you can purchase them in all supermarkets (ask at the cashier's desk for "Gebührensäcke").
❗️These bags are NOT for recyclables
🔄 Recycle PET, glass, paper, carton, aluminum, batteries & toxic waste are disposed of separately from household garbage.
🍎 Compost: can be put in the GREEN container next to the grey one. Please do not use any plastic bags.

♻️ Recycling
Glass and aluminum need to be separated and then deposited at local recycling points.
The closest recycling point to the flat is at Gemeindehauspl. 1, 6048 Horw (10 min walking from the apartment).
Plastic bottles (PET) can be dropped off in the large containers in front or inside of supermarkets (Migros).
Cardboard and paper are picked up for free in front of your house on Saturday once a month (see exact dates here). Cardboard and paper must be folded correctly:
