🧺 Laundry
Proceed to the basement, which can be found on floor -1.
On the right you will find the laundry and drying room.
There is one washing machine available. You can use it for free.
Make sure the machine is turned on (knob on "I ON".
Please leave the laundry room clean. Happy washing!
🗑 Waste disposal and recycling
🚮 Trash: Grey containers up the street (left side from house). Please use blue official bin bags. You will find some in the apartment. If you stay for a longer time, you can purchase them in all supermarkets (ask at the cashier's desk for "Gebührensäcke").
❗️These bags are NOT for recyclables
🔄 Recycle PET, glass, paper, carton, aluminum, batteries & toxic waste are disposed of separately from household garbage.
🍎 Compost: can be put in the GREEN container next to the grey one. Please do not use any plastic bags.
♻️ Recycling
Glass and aluminum need to be separated and then deposited at local recycling points.
The closest recycling point to the flat is at Hübeliweg, 6033 Buchrain (10 min walking from the apartment).
Plastic bottles (PET) can be dropped off in the large containers in front or inside of supermarkets (Migros).
Cardboard is picked up for free in front of your house on Thursday once a month, and paper on Friday once a month (see exact dates here). Cardboard and paper must be folded correctly:
