Parking
We have one parking spot available at the flat. You can access the garage from Schädrütistrasse (google maps: 47°03'20.8"N 8°20'37.9"E), as indicated on the map.
You can park your car on spot nr. 16.
Exit the way you entered the garage.
Turn right and take the next road to your right, Würzenbachstrasse.
Follow the instructions on your check-in guide.

The closest parking near the flat is the Parkplatz Sportcenter Würzenbach, located 5 min. walking distance from the flat. The cost for 24h is CHF 16.

Laundry
There is no laundry room available at the house.
The nearest self-service laundromat is LAUNDRY LUZERN, located at Hirschengraben 31, 6003 Luzern, only 20' by bus from the apartment.
One machine with a load of max. 8 Kg costs CHF 9.- (including liquid detergent).
The dryer costs CHF 7.-.
Opening hours: every day from 6 AM to 10 PM.

Waste disposal and recycling
The trash containers are located in a small storage room left to the entrance. Use the GREY container for the regular trash.
In Luzern, it is required to purchase official bin bags. You will find some in the apartment (the bags are blue). If you stay for a longer time, you can purchase them in all supermarkets (they are usually not out on the shelves so make sure to ask at the cashier's desk for "Gebührensäcke").
These bags are NOT for recyclables. Compost, PET bottles, glass, carton, paper, aluminum cans, batteries, and other toxic waste are disposed of separately from household garbage.
Compost can be put in the GREEN container outside. Please do not use any plastic bags.
Recycling
Glass and aluminum need to be separated and then deposited at local recycling points.
The closest recycling point to the flat is at Migros-Supermarkt - Luzern - Brüelstrasse (in Kreuzbuchstrasse 53).
Plastic bottles (PET) can be dropped off in the large containers in front or inside of supermarkets (Migros or Coop).
Cardboard and paper can be disposed of in the black (carton!) and brown (paper!) containers.
