Parking
We have one parking spot available at the flat. You can access the garage from Schädrütistrasse, as indicated on the map. Make sure you grab the keys to the apartment first.
You can park your car on spot nr. 10.
Exit through the metal door.
Take the first door on the right (you need the keys to enter this door).
Walk down the corridor, than turn left.
Turn left again, you will see the apartment in front of you.
You made it to apartment 18! :)

Parkplatz Verkershaus und Lido
The closest parking near the flat is the Parkplatz Verkershaus und Lido, located 12 min. walking distance from the flat. The cost for 24h is CHF 10.
Car parks
Alternatively, you can leave the car in one of the car parks.
The parking garage CITY-PARKING is located on Zurichstrasse 35. It's reachable within 15 min by bus from the apartment.

Laundry
There is a washing machine inside the apartment that you are free to use. It is located in the small bathroom at the entrance.
There's also a laundry rack that you can use to dry your laundry.
Waste disposal and recycling
The trash containers are located in a small storage room left to the entrance. Use the GREY container for the regular trash.
In Luzern, it is required to purchase official bin bags. You will find some in the apartment (the bags are blue). If you stay for a longer time, you can purchase them in all supermarkets (they are usually not out on the shelves so make sure to ask at the cashier's desk for "Gebührensäcke").
These bags are NOT for recyclables. Compost, PET bottles, glass, carton, paper, aluminum cans, batteries, and other toxic waste are disposed of separately from household garbage.
Compost can be put in the GREEN container outside. Please do not use any plastic bags.
Recycling
Glass and aluminum need to be separated and then deposited at local recycling points.
The closest recycling point to the flat is at Migros-Supermarkt - Luzern - Brüelstrasse (in Kreuzbuchstrasse 53).
Plastic bottles (PET) can be dropped off in the large containers in front or inside of supermarkets (Migros or Coop).
Cardboard and paper can be disposed of in the black (carton!) and brown (paper!) containers.
